Father Patrick E. McGrath, S.J., is a popular retreat leader and noted homilist who focuses especially on the practical living of Catholic faith. Father McGrath uses storytelling, Scripture, wisdom from the Catholic tradition and the spirituality of St. Ignatius to help audiences reflect and to experience God in all things.
Father McGrath serves as the president of Loyola Academy in Wilmette, the largest Jesuit high school in the United States. The mission of Loyola Academy is to form women and men for meaningful lives of leadership and service in the imitation of Jesus Christ through a college preparatory education in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition.
Father McGrath holds a Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame, a Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology, and a Master of Science from Northwestern.
